Senior General Accountant

Why we’re looking for you

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in general accounting and hold a Chief Accountant Certification. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support decision-making.

You’ll do

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate recording and documentation of financial transactions.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend analysis, to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and optimizing tax planning strategies.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to support audits and address any compliance-related issues.
• Provide guidance, support, and training to junior accounting staff, promoting their professional development and enhancing the overall team performance.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, including providing financial insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and propose process improvements.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and compliance measures to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.

You have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Chief Accountant Certification or similar professional certification.
• Minimum of five years of experience in general accounting preferred strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (including VAS and IFRS is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good Communication and English skills
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

We offer

• Salary range: Up to $1,300 Gross
• Performance review: 2 times per year.
• Yearly Salary Package: 13th-month salary bonus + Performance bonus: up to 3 months.
